Dear reader,
the New Apostolic Church (NAC) is a worldwide church with approx. 9 million members. In Germany, around 330,000 members profess the New Apostolic faith. This makes the New Apostolic Church the fourth largest Christian church in Germany alongside the Catholic Church, the Protestant Church and the Orthodox Churches.
There are 16 District Apostle Areas worldwide. Together they form the Church as a whole under the leadership of the current Chief Apostle Jean-Luc Schneider as the highest spiritual authority.

The individual congregations are the centre of church life. They are led by ministers (congregational leaders) who are ordained to a priestly office. In addition to conducting church services, it is the task of the priestly ministers to perform acts of blessing (baptisms, marriages, etc.) and to provide pastoral care to the members of the congregation. Deacon and deaconess fulfil a variety of services in the parish and support the priests in their pastoral care.
The church district of Memmingen extends with 12 parishes from Vöhringen via Leutkirch in the Allgäu to Buchloe. You can find an overview map under "Where we are".

The Memmingen church district is led by Head of district Klaus Keck, supported by Deputy Head of district Markus Rehle.
